The Venue


I will be leading this retreat at the Bala Brook retreat centre on Dartmoor in South West England. It is a beautiful centre especially converted for yoga and meditation retreats.


The centre has 5 acres of land, with walks directly from the grounds onto the surrounding hills. There is a yoga room, a large kitchen/diner and a small library.


The retreat will start on the Thursday afternoon and finish around noon on the Monday.




The yoga



Practices will include Asanas, Meditation, Spinal Breathing Pranayama and Samyama as well as other yoga practices.  The focus of the retreat will be on the cultivation of inner silence, purification using pranayama and self-inquiry (jnana yoga). This retreat is suitable for people of all levels of ability from complete beginners through to advanced practitioners. Full instructions on practice will be given.



Food


Food will be vegetarian. The food served will support a yoga and meditation practice. We can also cater for vegan diets and special diets such as dairy or gluten free, if you let us know in advance. There will be two meals served each day (brunch and dinner) and fruit and hot drinks will be available all day.

Cost


Single room:                          £430

Shared room (2 sharing):     £410 per person

Shared room (3 sharing):     £390 per person


The cost includes accommodation, food and all the yoga sessions. A deposit of £70 is required to secure a place on this retreat.
