8-day AYP yoga and meditation retreat

The Venue


I will be leading this retreat at the Punta de Couso retreat centre in North Western Spain. The centre is in a beautiful location on a peninsular by the sea.


There are several white-sand beaches within easy walking distance from the centre.



The yoga


Practices will include Asanas, Meditation, Spinal Breathing Pranayama and Samyama, as well as other yoga practices. The focus of the retreat will be on the cultivation of inner silence and peace-fullness. Full instructions in practice will be given.


All yoga classes and meditation sessions are optional, so each person can take the retreat at whatever pace suits them.


This retreat will be suitable for anyone who has been practicing yoga for a year or more. The retreat will include some advanced breathing techniques (pranayamas) and these will all be taught on the course. We will also be looking at Jnana Yoga on the course which is the yoga of Self-inquiry.




Languages and retreat leaders


The retreat will be led in the English language. The retreat leaders will be Tristan Dorling and Amandine Perrin.



Food


Food will be vegetarian. The food served will support a yoga and meditation practice. We can also cater for vegan diets and special diets such as dairy or gluten free, if you let us know in advance.


There will be two meals served each day (brunch and dinner) and fruits and hot drinks will be available all day.




Cost


 £695 per person in a shared twin room.

 

 £785 per person in a single room.



The cost includes accommodation for 7 nights, 2 meals a day and all the yoga and meditation classes.  


Shared rooms are single sex, unless you are coming with a friend.

A deposit of £70 is required to secure a place on the retreat.

Continuous professional development


    If you are a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, this course counts as 10 hours of continuous professional development (CPD).



Getting there and away


The nearest international airports to the retreat centre are Vigo, Santiago de Compostela, and Porto. Directions for getting to the centre are here.


Arrival will be in the afternoon of the 26th before 4pm and departure on the 3rd  around noon.
