Q: Practices are good. I have a rather strange inquiry however; I am finding that in just reading some of your posts, my state automatically changes into an almost ecstatic one…excitment! It’s like my very being resonates with what I am reading. Having done some NLP training, I am aware that anything can trigger any state within a person depending on their particular make- up, and that words have an hypnotic effect; but this does feel different. I wonder if you can shed some light on this, from your perspective. I look forward to seeing what effect your response will have. I am a very hungry being…Hot for IT!!!
A: Yes, it is amazing how bhakti works. Something in us is quickened when we are exposed to an expression of truth. It is in us already. Even just someone’s attempt to write down truth can do it. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just in the right direction. The nervous system knows it when it sees it. A few lessons back I mentioned that part of the purpose of these lessons is to stimulate bhakti in folks. I hope that revealing all of this practical knowledge, accumulated and utilized over a lifetime, will help others be inspired to practice according to their own inclinations.
Go for it, with prudence of course. Follow your blossoming bhakti wisely, and you will arrive home straight away. I am honored to be offering some extra stimulation to what is in you already. You will find that “IT” is everywhere.
The guru is in you.
