Advanced Yoga Practices online retreat

12th - 14th March 2021

This online retreat will be taking place online from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th March. To take part you will need to have Zoom downloaded onto your phone or computer.

Practices will include asana, Deep Meditation, Spinal Breathing Pranayama, and Samyama.

The topic for the weekend will be “Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga- the yogas of spiritual desire (devotion) and action”. These are two of the highest forms of yoga. We will be looking at the AYP approach to these two aspects of yoga and also at some of the spiritual poetry of  Rumi, Kabir and Hafiz. We will also be looking at the difference between dvaita and advaita self-inquiry practices (jnana yoga).

The retreat will be led in English and will be suitable for people of all levels of experience. 

Class times are in U.K. (London) time. 

To take part, it is recommended to be in a quiet location where you can focus on your spiritual practices over the weekend.

Tristan has been practicing yoga and meditation for around 30 years and teaching internationally for the last 10 years. He trained in Nepal, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka.

He specializes in the teaching of meditation, pranayama and the philosophy of yoga.

19:30-20:30    Evening talk on Karma yoga, followed by questions and answers
